Product Review: Annie’s Gluten Free & Organic Bunny Fruit Snacks

There is sometimes a product that you just can’t grab a photo of, especially when it’s a great ‘to-do’ one. Annie’s Bunny Fruit Snacks, which are both gluten free and organic as well as made with real fruit juice, is one of those products. Annie’s recently sent me a big bundle of goodies as part of a giveaway I did, which included a box each of their Pink Lemonade, Berry Patch, and Sunny Citrus Fruit Snacks. They became a staple of my lunch bag for some time over the past few weeks.

As a child I was a fiend for fruit snacks. They were go good, and gave you the impression of snacking like a rebel while still giving you ‘fruit’ nutrients. These fruit snacks didn’t disappoint, and were very reminiscent of childhood. They weren’t gummy, or ‘chalky’, which I found to be the case with many fruit snacks of my past. In addition, they were very subtle in flavor, yet very distinct from one another. Out of the three flavors, I would say that the Berry Patch was my favorite. It contains strawberry, cherry, and raspberry flavors, and was overall well rounded and the tastiest mix of the bunch.

The only down side for me was one pack was simply just not enough. Each packet was small, containing about 10-12 fruit snacks, which made me test my ability to eat slowly and savor each bite. Honestly, this isn’t a bad thing, as it let me enjoy them as more of an adult rather than a ravenous kid. I’ll surely be hunting these down in the future when I am in need of quick snacks!
