Disney Pulls Jessie Episode that Makes Fun of Gluten-free Child
After receiving many negative responses to a recent episode of the show Jessie, which made fun of a gluten-free character, Disney has pulled the episode from the air and internet. I personally think this is a good move but it is an easy way out. A more positive response might have been to work gluten-free education into further episodes, rather than just simply pull the episode. It will be interesting to see how this is addressed in further episodes. Here’s one take on how this could have better been addressed.

It is a great straight forward article that walks you through what you can do from start to finish to stay safe when dining out with food allergies. All in all a great article!

This article highlights several mistakes individuals make when educating themselves about gluten free.
