Here is another article, this one from Media Planet’s Autoimmune Awareness, which highlights some common myths and misconceptions about Celiac Disease. I know these get redundant but I love seeing people setting the record straight in what ever way they can.

This CNN article answers this question posed by a reader. Although brief and simple, it is a great reminder about what our gluten free diets should revolve around to be healthy and that being gluten free does not mean we are on a weight loss diet.

Are Antibodies to Deamidated Gliadin Peptides An Accurate Predictor of Celiac Disease in Infants?
This somewhat technical article discusses a study conducted with infants to determine the best blood work to complete to assess for Celiac Disease. The study found that “For infants, deamidated gliadin antibodies showed a higher diagnostic accuracy for celiac disease than gliadin antibodies.”

Cheap Food is a Thing of the Past Report Warns
This startling article discusses developing research which is further suggesting the costs of food, all foods not just gluten free, will be rising over the next few years. The article offers many resources as well as reasons for the rising costs. While I personally don’t see this as unexpected event, it is frightening.
