Canyon Bakehouse Review and Giveaway

Bread.

As a kid I couldn’t get enough of my ‘specialty’ weekend breakfast of toast with cinnamon sugar and butter. As a college student I primarily ate sandwiches of turkey, american cheese, and ranch dressing almost every day. Bread has always been a staple, but after my Celiac Disease diagnosis it took a few years for me to find myself some great gluten free bread substitutes. One of my top favorites is Canyon Bakehouse Gluten Free, and the gluten eating husband agrees.

Their line of products, which has expanded quite a bit since I first became aware of them a few years ago, are some of the best breads and bagels on the market. Unlike other brands, which suffer from some ‘holy issues’ their products are complete and not crumbly. There isn’t this lacking dryness that leaves you thirsty, or this density that leaves you wanting to pull half the bread off. They’re great fresh or toasted, topped or plain; anyway you slice it really. AND now you can try some for yourself if you enter the giveaway below. One winner will win a VIP package of all their products, and a runner up will win two free product coupons. Here’s a few ways you can have Canyon Bakehouse products if you win the giveaway, or even if you get some for yourself:

Their Plain or Everything Bagels are the perfect vehicle for a mix of lox and cream cheese. As a Long Island girl hailing from the heart of bagel-land I prefer the Everything bagel, they’re flavorful and great for everything:

Their Cinnamon Raisin toast makes the perfect lazy person gluten free french toast:

Their Rosemary and Thyme Focaccia is great toasted and topped with feta cheese as a nice pairing for a greek themed cheese platter:

Their Mountain White Bread (all their breads really) are sturdy enough to slip some chips into your tuna salad sandwich:

Their newer Deli Rye Style Bread is perfect for a peppy and flavorful plain tuna salad sandwich. It is full of Caraway seed deliciousness, without the rye:

The possibilities are endless with Canyon Bakehouse, and did I mention they also make brownie bites? Perfect for those of us who want a taste of brownies but would eat an entire try if it was in front of us…

Now for the giveaway. One lucky winner will win a huge VIP package of their bagels, breads, buns, and brownie bites: Canyon Package

An addition runner up will win two free product coupons. Simply follow the steps in the rafflecopter giveaway to enter by May 31st! I’m keeping this open for the entire month of May in honor of Celiac Disease Awareness Month, and they’ll be more giveaways to come.

  1. I’ve been teaching my coworkers about what’s safe for people with celiacs to eat when they come in to the diner we work at. And also encouraging them to be more understanding of food restrictions, because it’s so tough to eat out.

  2. I’m always trying to educate people about celiac disease. Probably annoy them sometimes but if it helps 1 person it’s worth it!

    1. Annoyance is in the eye of the beholder, there’s worse to be annoying about than disease awareness.

  3. I’ve been blogging all month to spread awareness. 🙂 But you know that! Attending expos is another way — the community and exchanges at expos are great opportunities to push the awareness envelope, especially by encouraging and teaching fellow celiacs how to use their own voices in their specific communities.

    Great post, Georgianna!

    Best,
