Jean's Chocolate Chip Cookies (Gluten Free)

These cookies are the perfect crispy gluten free chocolate chip cookies, and are passed down from my mother for me to share with you. Eat them on their own, have them with a hot beverage or eat with ice cream.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup plus 2 Tablespoons Glutino All-Purpose Gluten Free Flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoons salt
  • ½ cup soft butter
  • 6 Tablespoons sugar
  • 6 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon water
  • 1 egg
  • 6 oz chocolate chips
  • ½ Cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Combine the butter, sugars, vanilla, and water until creamy. Beat in the egg until well combined.
  4. Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix well.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips, and nuts if using.
  6. Teaspoon dough onto greased cookie sheet about two inches apart.
  7. Cook for 10 Minutes, and cool for at least 5 minutes.
