1st Annual Gluten Free Oktoberfest in NYC This Saturday

While I’m spending 24 hours staying up and playing games to raise funds for children’s hospital as part of the Extra Life Event I’m hoping some of you can attend what sounds like one of the best gluten free events to hit the New York City Metro area in awhile: The First Annual GF Oktoberfest. The event was founded by Jeffrey Reiss, founder and owner of NYC restaurant Pie by the Pound which offers a variety of gluten free pizzas and other items, so that “people with gluten intolerance or celiac disease could safely come together and mingle while enjoying a selection of over 45 gluten-free ciders and beers and an unlimited amount of gluten free food.” Here’s what you need to know:

As an added bonus to the above you’ll also get the chance to meet some of the cider/beer makers and brand ambassadors. Reservations ARE required, and both levels of tickets are still available. You can buy your tickets here. Oh, and be sure to share some photos and tell me how the event was so I can live vicariously through you!
